Senior Mechanical Engineer- Life Sciences- Contract – Denmark

Our global engineering client are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support their portfolio of projects in Denmark. This is an exciting time of investment with programs in excess of $2 billion and a portfolio of projects due to run for the next 5 years. This role will be supporting three new manufacturing facilities, and a facility expansion project. Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Establish the Engineering Requirements for the mechanical systems for the project.
  • Prepare design and specify components required.
  • Participate in FAT / SAT.
  • Complete mechanical installation tasks.
  • Follow up on contractors and report.
  • Equipment experience to include the likes of heat exchangers, vessels, valves, etc.
  • Work in close partnership with the Management Team in Mechanical, Instrumentation & Validation.
  • Support the competence development of the department to reflect market and technology development.
About you:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior mechanical engineering role.
  • Experience acting as a Work Package Owner is a plus (not a necessity).
  • Proven experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Degree in engineering within mechanical, chemistry/production engineering or similar.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GMP and GEP).
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to bring people together around a common purpose.
  • Are result-oriented, have a well-structured work approach.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
