Our client is a leading developer in the offshore wind industry owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets. With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe & emerging international markets.
Now they are currently seeking a Team Leader Civil & Structures to join them in Germany to support multiple projects in EU & APAC regions.
You will be responsible for leading a global team of civil and structural engineers, managing internal and external resources, providing the civil engineering services to the renewables projects and assets in all phases of the value chain.
Key Tasks:
- Accountability of managing a global unit of engineering support in the area of civil and structural engineering as well as geotechnics.
- Accountable to establish and maintain technical standards and specifications forming the basis for project design and purchase specifications.
- Accountable for defining the engineering solutions in line with the project requirements.
- Responsibility to coordinate technical support and interfaces closely with the regional project teams.
- Must have a degree in civil/structural engineering.
- Several years of relevant experience in the wind energy business in engineering teams, preferred in wind OEMs, wind farm developers and operators as well as engineering consultancies.
- Experience in structural design and in supervising and verifying structural designs internally or from contractors.
