2016: A year to celebrate at Quanta

It’s been a great year for us at Quanta, with plenty to smile about and celebrate in the office. From winning a prestigious Queen’s Award through to completing a website rebrand, it’s been an exciting time to be part of the team here at Quanta. As the year comes to a close and we look ahead to 2017, it’s time to reflect on our successes and highlights in 2016.

Our Queen’s award

This year saw us win a coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, the UK’s highest accolade for business success. Our commitment to recruitment excellence is no secret but it was particularly special to have it honoured in such a significant way. As well as an official presentation ceremony at Buckingham Palace, we also celebrated with an in-office party where we welcomed special guests to help share our success. We’re enormously proud of this award and hope to continue this success into the future.

Quanta rebrand

With almost 25 years under our belt, we felt 2016 was the perfect year to shake up our branding. September saw us launch our brand new mobile responsive site, allowing users to search for new opportunities no matter where they are. With nine in ten jobseekers saying they will use their mobile device during their job search process over the next year, it’s more important than ever to be ahead of the curve when it comes to a mobile-friendly site, so we’re pleased to be able to offer this experience to our clients and candidates.

As for our rebrand, we’ve gone for a motif that showcases our ‘One Team’ identity and vision to work together to provide exceptional recruitment solutions to the industry. We’ve had an office revamp to match the eye-catching new logo and imagery and we couldn’t be happier to head into 2017 with this new look.

Team growth

We’ve experienced strong growth across the business this year, with the Delivery and Sales teams acquiring talented new members, along with Operations and Marketing. We’ve essentially added more people to all our departments which is a testament not only to our success as a business, but also to our fun, friendly and vibrant team. We provide a great work environment at Quanta and can’t wait to bring on more fantastic people in 2017.

Ongoing charity work

Charity is always an important feature of the Quanta work life, and 2016 has been no different. As always, we’ve supported Thomley, The Silver Line and The Pepper Foundation through allocating money from everyday work achievements to the charity of the team member’s choosing. We also held more formal fundraising sessions, including a barbecue in the middle of Storm Imogen, a Halloween bake-off and fancy dress competition. We plan to continue contributing to these causes in 2017 and hope to raise more money than ever.

Thanks to all our clients, candidates, colleagues and comrades who have helped to make 2016 such a special year for Quanta. Here’s to another great one!
