Lauren Potter is a longstanding and valuable member of the Quanta team, joining us in 2009 after previously working for an administration recruitment company. She's one of many team members who have been with us for years and has developed very impressive career growth since joining the business all those years ago. So what makes her love the Quanta lifestyle so much?
As with many of our team, it's all about the people for Lauren. She favours the positive, inclusive work attitude in the office, saying "Everyone works together as one team and it's a fun and friendly environment." The 'one team' attitude is something we really embrace at Quanta so it's always rewarding for us to hear how valued it is by our team.
The training provided at Quanta is extensive and tailored towards each individual, something Lauren points to as being particularly beneficial for her personal development.
"I have been fully supported in the decisions I have made regarding my career progression throughout my time here and Quanta has helped me to achieve my goals," she says.
In fact, Lauren initially applied for her position at Quanta because of the training and career development on offer. Hers is a story of career growth and is testament to the ability to move up within a company if you apply yourself.
She started her time here within the administration department, and after a year there moved into a Delivery Executive position supporting sales consultants across the life science and renewable energy sectors. She then progressed through the different levels of Delivery Executive at Quanta before moving into a Team Leader position four years ago.
Lauren's commitment to her ongoing development and continued excellence at Quanta, along with the ongoing growth within the business, has since seen her progress into a Delivery Manager role in 2015. Lauren says she "genuinely loves" this position and the opportunities Quanta has given her to hone her skills and advance into new areas. Lauren also appreciates Quanta's approach to rewarding excellence, where everyone across the business is recognised for their hard work and contributions. This differs from many other organisations in the recruitment industry where success can be perceived to be very sales-focused - instead of only celebrating the success of our sales team, we ensure every single contributor receives the recognition they deserve.
So if Lauren wasn't working at Quanta, what would she be doing? Applying to work here, she says.
