The Quanta team raises £18,000 for charity
The Quanta team raise money for charity in a number of ways, with the majority coming from their day-to-day work. Funds are allocated to a range of activities – such as arranging an interview, raising an invoice or placing someone in a role – that allow every colleague to get involved. So the more great work we do, the more we can donate.
This is of course accompanied by various fundraising activities that take place both in and outside the office – from fancy dress competitions and ‘bake-offs’ through to challenges such as abseiling down the ArcelorMittal Orbit!
“On behalf of everyone at Thomley, but especially our beneficiaries, we would like to thank the management and staff of Quanta for their incredible generosity. The donation of £6,000 will enable us to run Thomley by financing such things as the maintenance of our play equipment for virtually one year, fund the cost of a playworker for three months or provide 20 specialist workshops– this money really does make a difference.” – Colin Ivey, Head of Fundraising at Thomley
"We are extremely grateful for Quanta’s continued support, their generous donation will enable our helpline to answer 1200 night time calls from lonely and isolated older people who have nowhere else to turn. Thank you Quanta." – Claire Lindfield, Head of Corporate Partnerships at The Silver Line
“The Pepper Foundation were once again blown away by the generous £6000 donation presented to us. With over £500,000 to raise each year, we are extremely grateful for Quanta’s continuing practical and financial support; as are the children and families the ‘Pepper Nurses’ care for.” – Emma Perrin, Lead Fundraiser at the Pepper Foundation
As our team continues to grow, we’re looking forward to raising even more this year and helping to make a real difference to the lives of those our charities support. Find out more about our charities here.
