The Sunday Times has announced its annual list of best places to live in the UK, with Berkhamsted named the regional winner for the South East of England.

The list ranks locations on a number of factors, including jobs, schools, local shops and broadband speed.

Describing Berkhamsted as ‘a jewel in the commuter crown’, The Sunday Times highlighted a number of reasons for the win, including the vibrant high street, top schools and Transition Town status, and names The Rex cinema the town’s crowning glory.

Quanta has been based in Berkhamsted since 1999, and we definitely agree. As a team we love to make the most of the local area, with many of us based in or around the town. Some of our highlights? The beer gardens along the canal in the summer, the quirky independent shops and many places to eat at lunch or after work. And the views from the office are also pretty great!
