On the 15th of August, Quanta were honoured to be able to add another title to the trophy shelf. The Princess Royal Training Awards (delivered by the City & Guilds Group) are a seal of approval of training excellence, verified by Princess Anne. The award is seen as a benchmark of distinction and proof of training and development available to employees in an organisation.
Huge emphasis is placed on training at Quanta (2,650 hours per year to be precise!) and the introduction of three bespoke training programmes has resulted in visible commercial benefits for the company. The training programmes are known as: FastTrack to Delivery Executive, FastTrack to Sales and FastTrack to Future Leadership. They all provide structured guidance to a variety of roles within the business and are specifically developed to help achieve strategic business goals.
Being the only recruiter within the 48 companies awarded the 2018 recognition was a fantastic achievement and Quanta are extremely proud to be amongst public and private sector businesses of all sizes including: John Lewis, the RAF, RBS and GSK.
Chief of Executive of the City & Guilds Group, Chris Jones commented saying: ‘’At a time of increasing uncertainty and reduced investment into workforce development it is great to see critical business issues being addressed through impactful L&D. Through the Awards we highlight excellent examples of training that have already proved to be effective and we encourage others to build on their success.’’
