In a new series of monthly blogs, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the numerous reasons why we all love working at Quanta, and why it could be the perfect next step for you in your career. First up for September, here’s a breakdown of our benefits and perks, and what you can expect to receive as part of the Quanta family.

Investment in YOU:

One of our 5 core values is “Investment in OUR future”, and we’ve committed to this through a  partnership with our 2 amazing in-house trainers. They are available all year round to offer expert training sessions including our fantastic “Fast Track to…” internal training programmes. These allow you to gain the skills and knowledge you need to progress within Quanta by being trained internally and alongside your colleagues. In fact they’re so good, they’ve helped us win the Princess Royal Training Award!

As well as role-specific training, we offer great opportunities to improve in other areas. An example of this is the language tuition we offer with expert tutors, offering you the chance to learn a brand-new language or improve your current skills in French, German or Spanish!

In terms of career prospects, we invest in our people from their first day to their last. Structured career paths are set out to offer you the best opportunity to progress upwards within the company, whilst weekly and monthly reviews with personally set objectives give you the chance to hit targets regularly and receive the rewards this brings.

Health and Wellbeing:

We value the health – both physical and mental – of our employees above all else. It’s for this reason that we offer private healthcare schemes to all our employees. This is alongside our Employee Assistance Programme, where you can confidentially, and with an external provider, receive ongoing support and counselling on any issues in or outside of work that you may have. One of our core values is that we enjoy what we do – and to do that you have to be healthy!

We also think one way to keep happy and healthy is to give back when you can. That’s why we’re heavily involved in charity work and are regularly organising events and initiatives where we can raise money for some very worthy causes. We support local and national charities with fundraising events ranging from individual employees running sponsored marathons to company-wide experience days with all profits going to a charity of our choice.

It’s also important to take a break once in a while – and for this, along with 22 days holiday as standard, we offer you the chance to buy holiday from the company if needed, as well as regular opportunities to win extra holiday by completing your objectives!

The fun stuff!

We have more to offer to ensure we all enjoy what we do. Our office penthouse is decked out with everything you need to relax and enjoy a well-deserved lunch break, including ping-pong table, games console, TVs, sofas and beanbags – along with the famous ball pit!

We celebrate success and recognise achievement as One Team at Quanta, and this means social events and incentives are shared by the whole Quanta family. Hitting target is rewarded by anything from fully expensed company weekends away, to experience days during the week. Weekly nominations from across the business for people going “above and beyond” their normal role are added to our Heroes Board and winners can book a place on our quarterly D Club also joining quarter’s top performers from across the business, where they are treated to a fantastic lunch with one of our Directors. Plus we never need much of an excuse to get the BBQ going at Quanta HQ, whether it’s sunny or not!

On top of all this, the monthly Wheel of Fortune competition gives those nominated for going above and beyond the chance to spin the wheel and win one of a number of prizes – from half and full holiday days to £150 in cash. You can even land on “Breakfast Club” and have breakfast bought for you and your whole team!
