Katarina joined the Quanta team in 2011, starting as a Delivery Executive. She has now reached her 10th anniversary with us - an amazing milestone that we’re proud to be celebrating with her. We spoke to Katarina, and some of her colleagues to hear about her time with Quanta and how she has contributed to the team.

Why did you join Quanta?

I joined the company straight after I finished my university degree. I came across Quanta on my job search, and I was lucky enough to secure an interview. As I learnt about the company, I really liked everything that I heard - the culture, the Delivery Executive position and the markets Quanta specialised in. The pharmaceutical market was particularly appealing to me because I saw there was a chance to make a difference.

“Katarina is one of a kind and has been an integral part of Quanta’s success over the past decade. Katarina’s commitment to each and every candidate she works with has always been exceptional; her quality of work is incredible and her contribution to our business has been huge. Always positive; keen to help; someone who lives all our values and is exceptionally talented, it has been a pleasure to work with Katarina over the past decade and we are so very fortunate to have her part of our amazing team. Kat, thank you for an incredible decade of hard work and dedication to Quanta; our clients and candidates.” – David Broome , Director

What has kept you working with the company for so many years?

I would say the people I work with - we have a really relaxed and friendly work environment. There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills and develop. For example, I started as a Delivery Executive, and I really enjoy this role, so I didn’t want my development to change that. So Quanta has been supportive of me taking on more responsibility, and I’ve now been promoted to Delivery Executive 5.

Also, a healthy work-life balance is encouraged at Quanta , and this is really important to me because I’m a mum. I have supportive and understanding managers who have been flexible throughout the years when I’ve had to pick up my daughter, for example. And, the work itself is exciting.

What are some of your favourite things about working at Quanta?

I get to be a part of a positive culture, where contributions are appreciated. I feel valued, and I get recognised for my work. Also, we get some really great rewards, like early finishes and financial incentives when we hit targets. The BBQs, nights out, weekends away, and business trips are some of the best parts of the job. I’m really looking forward to those starting back up again.

“She is obviously very beautiful, talks quicker than me and is an absolute pleasure to work with! I had to park and move her car for her every day when she first got her car. ” – Wendy Pearson, Delivery Executive

Where have you seen the company values in action?

Values are a huge part of the business, especially the one team value. I feel like we all work together and not against. All departments work well because everyone believes and in the company vision, mission and values. The entire team is very supportive of each other, which is nice to see.

“Katarina has been part of my team since 2016 and she is a pleasure to work with. I’m grateful for her contribution and dedication to our company. She is a very kind, loyal and hardworking individual who will always do her best and she has adapted well to all the changes we have been through. I hope for another 10 years of her professional career with us!” – Virginie Taffin, Delivery Manager

Why does your work matter to you?

Personally, it matters because having a career makes me feel good. It’s good to know that I can do well and put my skills to good use. Also, recruiters make a huge difference in people’s lives. So you get a nice feeling when you help a candidate get a job they enjoy and are passionate about. We’ve been supporting different vaccine manufacturing sites, so it’s really rewarding to be a part of this global effort to save lives.

Could you be the next member of the Quanta team?
