Automation Engineer - Global Pharmaceutical Company - Leinster - 11 month contract 

With global demand for their life-changing oncology treatment increasing; one of our global pharmaceutical clients is looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team to support a €500 million expansion project in Leinster.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a state-of-the art fill-finish facility and the company’s first stand-alone vaccine and biologics plant outside the US. 

Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Work on OEM projects
  • Develop and/or review SDLC deliverables, including but not limited to:
    • Requirements Specifications
    • Requirements Traceability Matrix
    • Functional Specification
    • Design Specification
    • Code Review
    • Test specification/test script
    • Work closely with vendors of OEM equipment to ensure deliverables meet project requirements, including the interfacing of new OEM equipment with existing site systems, incl. MES, DCS and Pi Historian.
About you:
  • At least five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, within a similar role.
  • Siemens PLC experience (S7) is a must.
  • Previous project experience required working with vendors.
  • Previous experience with IQ, OQ and project documentation.
