Capital Projects Manager - Life Science- Contract-Maryland

Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth, they are looking for a Capital Projects Manager to help support operations at their Maryland facility.

With their Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing network growing rapidly, they are committed to growing their portfolio of commercial biologics products supplied worldwide – and this is your opportunity to be involved!

Capital Project Manager Responsibilities:

Initiate the project effectively, develop and obtain agreement on the project charter;
Develop the Project Management Plan, maintain it, communicate it and implement it effectively;
Ensure clarity of and communicate project roles and responsibilities;
Manage project risk pro-actively;
Ensure appropriate level of governance is in place;
Ensure project reporting and decision-making processes are robust and timely;
Actively identify all materials of project change, ensuring appropriate & timely assessment and review are performed. Obtain appropriate authorization for any changes in project scope. Own the Project Change Register;
Ensure the project schedule is meeting business case timeline and own the plan-do-review process;

About you:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
Proven supervisory and technical skills.
Experience with cGMP requirements.
Demonstrated capability managing pharmaceutical capital projects in excess of $30M
Total Installed Cost with accountability to the project’s cost, schedule, and stakeholder management.
