Clean Utilities Engineer

Clean Utilities  Engineer – Global Biopharmaceutical Client – 24 month contract in Massachusetts

One of our global Biopharmaceutical clients is looking for a Clean Utilities Engineer to join their team at the beginning of a new greenfield facility project. This will be a 24 month contract supporting the project from design through to operation.

This position offers the right person a great opportunity to play an integral part of a new state of the art $250m facility. This is the first facility in North America for our client, so it is essential to have the best team on board to deliver within budget and on time.

This role will be integral to the project where you will put significant input into the clean utilities engineering of a start-up facility. The facility will include drug substance process development, tech transfers and small scale drug product fill finish.  Your role will include working on media prep, downflows, weighing booths and transfers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in working on a start-up project within biopharmaceutical / pharmaceutical sectors
• Proven experience as a system owner where you have gone from design through to qualification. This includes fully understanding the systems where you are responsible for solving all technical issues.
• Ability to supervise and participate in FATs and walk down all systems ensuring alignment with the P&ID’s
• Knowledge and understanding to ensure construction align with design intentions
• Be a team player
