CQV HVAC Engineer- Life Science- Contract – North Carolina

Our client, a global Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented CQV HVAC Engineer to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

CQV HVAC Engineer Responsibilities:
  • CQV Engineer for all HVAC, Rooms and Facility Qualifications, initially responsible for review of all Design deliverables from Jacobs including Drawings, Datasheets, specifications and Engineering Lists.
  • Generation of all CQV HVAC Documentation – FAT wraparounds, DQ, RTM, QRA, SAT/IOC, and IOQ, including Final Reports.
  • Point CQV person for Vendor review for all HVAC and Rooms Vendor Packages.
  • Support bidding process for award of HVAC vendors for AHUs, ducting ad Rooms. Also, lead discussions with vendors for Rough and Final Balancing of HVAC and Rooms systems.
  • CQV SME for all HVAC Systems. Support CQV HVAC Team from initial design to final BT Handover.
  • Liaise with the engineering firm in relation to construction readiness and a schedule for all HVAC systems, perform and lead all field walk-downs for all systems.
  • Support CQV review, aligning with Transition Group in relation to review and approval of all Turnover Packages, both Vendor and Contractor Packages within the HVAC scope.
  • Liaise with CQV SWAT Team in relation to punch list closure both pre-M/C and during the CQV execution phase for all HVAC systems.
  • Liaise with CQV PM and Lead Scheduler in relation to schedule creation and management for all HVAC, ensuring all correct predecessors and successors are in place.
  • Ensure Commissioning readiness of all HVAC Systems to support Equipment Start-up and IOQ Testing.
  • Support PSSR/STW field execution and guide CQV Team through Start-up exercise in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Support CQV HVAC with EIDA / or Master Project Database equivalent system, always ensure full traceability for all systems.
About you:
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years CQV HVAC and mechanical experience on Large Scale Projects
  • SME on all HVAC Systems, minimum 5 years
  • Working knowledge of ASTM E2500 / Leveraging Verification process
  • Experience with liaising with other departments and building PMs/leads
