Data Manager - Pharma - Sligo - 11-Month Contract 

We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity to join our client, a pioneering leader in genetic traceability solutions across industries. Our client is at the forefront of genetic identification, revolutionising how we understand and utilise DNA-based technologies in various sectors. They are currently seeking a Data Manager for their Dublin location to be part of their transformative journey and play a pivotal role in driving innovation in genetic traceability.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data models revolving around animals.
  • Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and classification schemes.
  • Collaborate with marketing, veterinary professionals, researchers, data engineers, and data management teams to identify data-related requirements and ensure alignment with animal health objectives.
  • Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolve data issues or anomalies in animal health records and datasets.
  • Conduct data profiling, analysis, and validation to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of animal health data.
  • Establish data documentation and metadata management processes for animal health records, diagnostic, and research data.
  • Provide guidance and support to veterinary professionals and researchers on data governance best practices and standards in the context of animal health.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management or a related field
  • 5-8 years of proven hands-on experience working as a Data Steward, Data Manager, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in data quality, cataloging, modeling, analysis, and metadata management.
  • Experience with data management tools and technologies, such as Collibra, Immuta, and Data Bricks
  • Experience harvesting data from ERP and CRM systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret and analyse veterinary records and diagnostic data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritise tasks in dynamic environments
