Electrical System Startup Engineer Lead- Life Science – Contract – North Carolina

Our client, One of the world’s largest pharmaceutical organisations is responsible for developing and manufacturing medicines and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines. They have been responsible for the development of many blockbuster drugs in both the USA and the EU and have a presence in the USA, EU and Asia-Pacific.

With continued organisational growth and a considerable amount of investment across the portfolio and capital programme they are seeking the expertise of Electrical System Startup Engineer Lead.

Electrical System Startup Engineer Lead Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field coordination meetings using Organizational Risk Management boards to identify all hazards and determine mitigation strategies. Development of Safe Plan of Action for all tasks.
  • Breaker/Disconnect alignments
  • LOTO
  • Signage and barricades
  • Completing installation documentation
  • Energization of power per written startup plans
  • Walk down of electrical systems for acceptance by commissioning team.
  • Troubleshoot equipment/system performance issues with support from the clients SME and engineering resources
About you:
  • 10 years of field experience in Pharma
  • Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams
