Facilities/Utilities Project Engineer– Life Science – Contract – Limerick

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new and expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the Country. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work via Quanta on the client’s side for a global Pharmaceutical organisation on a major expansion project based in the picturesque Munster region of Ireland. 

Located just 20 minutes from the nearest international airport, the manufacturing site is workable for those wishing to commute to/from Ireland for a contract position. You will be required on site for 5 days per week Monday – Friday working 45 hours.

 Facilities/Utilities Project Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Contact equipment manufacturers or appropriate specialists when necessary to resolve equipment problems.
  • Creating and updating new and effective documentation via workflows on qualified documentation systems.
  • Raising change controls and executing test plans for changes to facilities qualified systems.
  • Completing Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) on equipment / systems in a timely manner.
  • Initiating and contributing to Notice of Events (NOE) and Escalation of Events (EOE) to facilitate timely closure.
  • Manage new installation projects from initiation through to completion on both qualified and non-qualified systems.
About you:
  • BS/BA in Engineering, Life Sciences or related field preferred along with 5 years experience in an SOP, ISO, or similar regulated environment strongly desired or equivalent combination of education and experience.
