Head of Operations

Brilliant chance to take ownership of a Cell and Gene Therapy facility in Belgium. A global Pharmaceutical company are looking for a Head of Operations / Manufacturing to run one of their European sites.

Required experience:

• Previous Operations / manufacturing site leadership experience
• Team size experience: Ideally + 100 (the Catalent team will be 150 people strong)
• Previous experience of GMP readiness work on a new site
• Previous experience of managing the manufacturing operations of a gene therapy or biologics facility
• Gene Therapy or Biologics experience (mammalian cell culture or vaccine manufacturing)
• Previous experience of taking full responsibility of the site operations / manufacturing function; multiple layers of management; change culture; cross functional relationships and assist in the delivery of a new build manufacturing building and ensure the site if GMP ready.
• Language: Fluent French speaker

Responsibilities: 

• Initial responsibility will be to review the existing site processes and procedures; make any recommendations; support the new build project and work with the business to ensure the site is GMP ready.  Most importantly to ensure the site delivers against current targets and existing client agreements – ensure continuity of site whilst it goes through significant change
