HSE Manager - Netherlands - 6-Week Contract 

Are you a HSE Manager looking for your next contract? We are working with a world leader in solutions for offshore energy and environmental works who are looking for a HSE Manager to help them in their mission towards a sustainable future. Primary Tasks and responsibilities
  • As a manager you’ll take the responsibility over the different QHSE teams 
  • You take initiative in improving, adapting and expanding our QHSE processes and Integrated Management System triggered by new/updated standards, QHSE regulations, client requirements, industry best practices, company processes etc.;
  • You assist project teams and supporting departments with their processes and managing their QHSE aspects;
  • Take the lead in our audit program, including the follow-up of non-conformities, observations and improvement actions;
  • Together with your team, you prepare periodic/ annual QHSE performance reports;
  • You communicate important QHSE initiatives and issues to the management team, the project teams and other stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Higher education in a relevant engineering discipline (Bachelor or Master);
  • Relevant QHSE experience and interested in developing an extended career in the field of QHSE;
  • You have a solid experience in people management and team lead
  • Knowledge of or affinity with ISO 9001/ ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 and other QHSE standards and management systems;
  • Willing to travel abroad occasionally for short periods;
  • Pragmatic, proactive and forward thinking;
  • Team player, excellent communication skills, tactful;
  • Service oriented and problem solving attitude;
  • Critical and analytical thinking;
  • Accurate, efficient in organising your work;
  • MSC/MSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanic Engineering, Chemical Engineering OR equivalent through experience OR MSc Degree Safety Engineering, prevention advisor level 1
  • Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) and/or Basic Safety Training (BST)
  • Other certifications in safety are a plus
