Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their unique and niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a I&C Lead to drive the delivery of a large new capital invest project on an initial 12-month contract. As the I&C Lead you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.
I&C Lead Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, input and direction to the instrumentation and controls element of the design of the facilities.
- Develop an instrumentation standardisation strategy across packaged equipment skidded installation and stick built systems in accordance with site standards.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure a full integration of all I&C requirements into the facility design.
- Act as a safety champion both by safety in design and field safety execution during construction and commissioning activities.
- Be the decision maker for Technical Aspects on the scope I&C design
- Review and input and receipt of all A&E Firm I&C and related documentation.
- Review and input Vendor documents such as General Arrangement Drawings, Specifications, Datasheets, Materials of Construction etc.
- Review the system(s) Operational Philosophy, I&C and Automation Interfaces, approval of FDS's etc. in conjunction with A/E Firm and/or others.
- Responsible for FAT & SAT support (Pre-Execution Approval of Test Protocol, Test Execution/Witness, Post-Execution Approval of Test Protocol) as required.
- Generate / Review User Requirements Specifications (URS).
- Responsible for input and support for the C&Q Effort of the facility.
