Offshore Construction Services (OCS) Package Manager- Renewables – Contract – Remote

Quanta’s client are responsible for the development, construction and operation of one of the UKs largest offshore wind farms. This is a joint venture project however, the role is aligned directly within the project organisation.

Offshore Construction Services (OCS) Package Manager Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a market intelligence overview of the relevant supply chain and ensure a good working relationship with contractors and suppliers.
  • Manage procurement, tendering and contracting of the applicable scope of works contracts including preparation and development of RFI and RFP suite of documents.
  • Ensure effective management of design and manufacturing contracts bringing best value and technical solutions to the OCS packages.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with the commercial team .
  • Manage budget, contingencies, and commercial risks to ensure completion well within the budget frame.
  • Provide key input into contract reviews identifying risks and opportunities, enhancements, termination, or renegotiation options.
  • Champion value added and risk reduction initiatives and approaches to the delivery of the OCS solutions
About you:
  • Degree qualified e.g., B.SC / M.Sc. in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical engineering
  • Additional business administration or commercial qualification
  • Certified project management professional
