Process Engineer - Ireland - Contract - 11 months - Pharmaceuticals

Our pharmaceutical partner based in Co. Tipperary develops and supplies the active ingredients and final formulated product for a range of innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities. The plant, which has been operating in Tipperary for over 40 years, exports to over 25 countries around the world with primary markets being Europe, USA and Japan.

We are recruiting a Process Engineer to provide technical support for API production facilities on site.


Process Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Assist with new product introductions or technical transfers to and from the site, including new technologies.
  • Manage the schedule and product launch milestones, this may involve directing day to day will development plans across projects and working closely with Research and Development partners globally.
  • Evaluate raw materials, development of process fits, optimisation and development of the chemical API process, participation in campaign preparation, safety and environmental reviews, batch sheet reviews, regulatory and validation compliance, process monitoring, deviation investigations and resolution, and developing filing strategies.

About you:
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related engineering/scientific discipline
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in API production or related environment
  • At least 1 years experience in Process / Chemical Engineering
