Procurement Manager – Pharmaceuticals – 12 Month Contract – Denmark

Our client, a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join them on their new expansion project. Based in a charming Nordic location, this on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.

Procurement Manager Responsibilities: 
  • Commercial evaluation and advice on Incoming bids (equipment suppliers).
  • Drive internal approval of contract approval.
  • Internal alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g.) legal, SME’s and finance.
  • Act as escalation point on ongoing pending suppliers.
  • Support the technical SME in commercial questions.
  • Emphasizing proactive, systematic approach to detect and advert delays to contractual milestones agreed upon.
  • Participation in project meetings to provide updates and status of documents submittals.
  • Ensure that updates are provided to all relevant stakeholders on any initiated mitigations on catch-up and improvements.
  • Review status reports for any potential problems and initiate mitigating actions for potential risk areas.
About you:
  • 3 + years’ experience in Green/Brown field projects.
  • Technical background and experience, preferably prior field operative.
  • Technical knowledge, handling technical suppliers on commercial areas.
  • Pharma experience.
  • Fluent in English.
