Programme Management Director – Belgium – 3-6-month contract

Exciting Contract opportunity for a Programme Management Director to support the build and development of a new commercial manufacturing facility, for a global Biotech company expanding their presence in Belgium.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for helping to drive the business forward and move them from Clinical Manufacturing to Commercial Manufacturing. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the Project Management teams and reporting into the Head of Global Client and Business Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • As the Programme Management Director you will be responsible for leading the Project Management team and ensuring all projects are managed effectively and according to client expectations.
  • The Programme Management Director will be responsible for the winning of business, maintaining and developing successful business relationships with new and existing clients and representing global project management with customers and the organization.
  • You provide effective support, supervise and monitor performance of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and Coordinators.
  • The Programme Management Director will promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the job and coordinate with Sales, Operations, EH&S and QA to ensure the highest level of client service.

Key Requirements
  • As the Programme Management Director, you will be qualified to degree level in a Chemistry, Life Science or Business degree and have gained a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Client Facing or Project Management position.
  • The Programme Management Director will have vast experience of transitioning and growing effective teams and have in-depth knowledge of the Contract Development, Pharmaceutical and Biotech industries.
  • You will be able to demonstrate leadership and have negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • As the Programme Management Director, you will have customer related experience and excellent client facing skills.
