Project Commercial Manager – Energy from Waste – Permanent – Wiltshire

Do you have extensive knowledge and experience of biomass or thermal power plants? Do you have the necessary skills to be a leader through mobilisation into safe operation of a power plant? This is the Project Commercial Manager position for you!

Quanta’s client is currently one of the leading turnkey EPC specialists delivering large energy recovery projects. This includes the design, build and operation of plants for household, non-hazardous, commercial and industrial waste.

Project Commercial Manager Responsibilities:

• Support other employees where required and appropriate in delivering the projects
• Participate in activities, as required from time to time that are not standard but are to the benefit of the business
• Participate in safety and meetings associated with the projects
• Engage with change management where appropriate
• Create and compile reports to assist project/plant development.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements.

• Manage relationships with clients, landlords, suppliers, consultants

About you:

• BSc or equivalent and further CPD qualifications 
• Background in commercial project delivery
• Likely to have engineering, surveyor, financial or legal training in area of waste or process industry
• Ability to work safely, and to ensure the safety of others, complying with all safety assessment requirements
• Ability to take a leading role in commercial activities of the project and business
