Project Controls Manager – Biopharmaceuticals – Permanent – Sydney

Are you looking for your next Project Controls Manager contract? We have an incredibly exciting new requirement that might just be for you.

Our client, a biopharmaceutical company based in Sydney, are looking for a Project Controls Manager for their current project. They are on a mission to ensure lifesaving therapeutic plasma drugs are accessible to all – and as their newest Project Controls Manager, you can help them get there.

This role initially starts in Sydney but will culminate in Brisbane permanently.

Project Controls Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project controls plans and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the project management plan and objectives.
  • Establish project cost and schedule baselines, monitor progress against them, and report on any variances to the project management team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of project data, including cost, schedule, risk, and change management information.
  • Analyze project performance and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Liaise across team members and contractors to ensure integrity of data provided.
  • Provide project status reports and other relevant information to project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and contractors.
  • Coordinate with project team members to ensure project controls requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Manage the project risk register and ensure mitigation plans are in place for all identified risks.
  • Manage the project change control process to ensure all changes are appropriately documented and approved.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members on project controls principles and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
About you:
  • Degree member or Chartered surveyor – membership preferred
  • Previous experience within a mid to senior level project control’s role
  • 7 years+ client-side experience within a pharmaceutical consulting background
  • Experience within project controls
  • Experience within pharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience working internationally
