Project Engineer – Pharmaceuticals – 12 Month Contract – Dublin

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical organisation supporting CAPEX projects at their North Dublin Manufacturing facility.

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new / expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the Country. Located within 20 minutes of Dublin airport, the manufacturing site is workable for those wishing to commute to/from Ireland for a contract position. You will be required on site for 3-4 days per week Monday – Friday, with some flexible, remote working options.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Manage 2 – 4 projects at a time within the CapEx project team (250,000 – 1.5 million euro
  • Support capital projects team for on-site based projects for pharmaceutical drug Manufacturing, Facilities and Packaging operations.
  • Support and execute validation support activities on site
  • Partake or lead potential continuous improvement programs, process mapping and gap analysis. Optimize existing processes to achieve desired targets.
  • Perform project scoping and gap analysis.
  • Deliver projects and assigned duties on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate changes using the approved change control procedure to ensure that cGMP is adhered to.
About you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 3 + years’ experience as Project Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record working and managing department teams for capital projects.
  • Excellent technical writing ability.
