Are you an experienced Project Engineer, with previous experience working on Offshore Wind Farms especially focusing on the Cabling package – then we are looking for you.
Quanta are currently supporting a major Renewable Energy client who works on a global scale in their search for a Project Engineer to support their offshore wind projects in the US. This role is looking to start at the beginning of October and is a long-term opportunity with an initial contract length of 12 months and further extensions thereafter. Base location would be Denmark or the UK and there would be some travel involved on a monthly basis.


Responsibility: 
  • Be the focal point of all technical documents (all revisions), communication notes and NCRs
  • Ensure all documentation from Contractors are issued in accordance with the Contract and are suitable for audit
  • Provision of support to the Installation Manager and cooperate with the Project team
  • Proactively build a constructive relationship with all stakeholders including all contractors
  • Comply with the client’s guidelines and industry standards in force, as well as any other local requirements
  • Review of design drawings for installation setup and make recommendations
  • Ensure contractor's delivery and own review of method statements and risk assessments
  • Implementation of relevant legislation and regulations during the installation preparation work and during installation campaign in cooperation with Package Manager
  • Continuous knowledge sharing including regularly updated registers with relevant line departments
  • Ensure deliveries comply with internal and external QA & HSE standards for project execution
  • Analyse Daily Progress Reports to introduce HSE, Quality and progress improvements

Qualifications:
  • Hold a MSc diploma or other relevant master’s degree certificate
  • Recommended 2 years of relevant and similar work experience within wind and/or offshore construction
  • Cable Installation experience (both Theoretical & Practical)
  • Certificate of skill incl. validity of certificate shall be forwarded upon request
