Project Engineer – Contract – 12 months – Cork

One of our global Pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team close to the picturesque and historical city of Cork. The site is renowned for manufacturing excellence and plays a vital role in the company's large-scale biotech operations worldwide. 

The site has received over $300 million investment over recent years in order to meet the demand for the company’s innovative products and will continue to evolve.

As a Project Engineer you will be working as part of a new team, focussing on decommissioning legacy equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this Project Manager role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Work with the team to decommission and decontaminate equipment, utilities, facilities.
  • Create and control project plans for the deletion of multiple products.
  • Be responsible for all project oversight and controls, including managing budgets and managing stakeholders.
  • Focus on the deleting of documentation and licenses related to legacy systems.
Requirements as a Project Manager:
  • 8-10 years experience in Project Management.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
  • Experience working on decommissioning, decontamination, and product deletion projects.
  • Experience working with Lean Six Sigma methodology.
