Senior Contact Manager - Life Sciences - Copenhagen

A global Biopharmaceutical company require a Snr Contract Manager who has in the past worked to deliver Complex projects.  The role of the Snr Contracts Manager will be to coordinate the process activities on a large capital investment programme at one of their campuses, based in Europe.
 
This individual will be responsible for the contract activities within the delivery of specifically the Drug substance expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial evaluation and advice on Incoming bids (to Engineering House when EPC)
  • Drive internal approval of contract approval
  • Internal alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g.) legal, SME’s and finance
  • Act as escalation point on ongoing pending supplier/contractor
  • Emphasizing proactive, systematic approach to detect and advert delays to contractual milestones agreed upon.
  • Participation in project meetings to provide updates and status of documents submittals
  • Ensure that updates are provided to all relevant stakeholders on any initiated mitigations on catch-up and improvements
  • Review status reports for any potential problems and initiate mitigating actions for potential risk areas
  • Visits field on a regular basis, aligns with engineering and other stakeholders for actual status and progress (and get a view behind scene) throughout the project
  • Weekly reporting and updates on own packages
  • Make and drive some RFQ’s (strategy, Tender, Evaluations negotiations and contracting) on clients own contracts
  • Forensic ambitions or capabilities
  • Meticulous file keeper, strong on admin
  • Problem resolver through pragmatism, not words.
Requirements:
  • Solid technical background and experience, preferably prior field operative
  • Bachelor + degree
  • 7+ years minimum experience in greenfield/ brown field projects
  • Pharma experience is beneficial but not essential 
  • Some alignment with current business is preferred
  • Absolutely self-driven, is “out there”, visible, approachable, engaging even when not asked.
