Senior Cost Engineer – Pharmaceuticals – Contract – Michigan

Do you want to work with an exciting company who are an established market leader within their unique and niche field? We have a fantastic opportunity for a 12-month contract with Project Controls and construction experience to drive the delivery of a large new capital invest project on an initial 12-month contract. As the Senior Cost Engineer you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state of the art facility.

Senior Cost Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for maintaining all cost data
  • Support the development and maintenance of project Work Breakdown Structure
  • Develop and Maintain project Cost Tracking Files
  • Generate month end actual cost reports
  • Submit monthly Cash Flow updates to the Leadership Team
  • Provide monthly cost analysis relating to baseline budget, forecast and cashflow to the team members as needed
  • Collaborate and monitor CM Project Controls reporting for comprehensive accuracy
  • Manage all cost data to ensure project meets approved thresholds for an on-time delivery of budget and schedule
  • Generate monthly cost metrics for project Steering Committee Report and other impromptu reporting as needed
  • Compile and submit monthly project accruals
About you:
  • BS/BA in related field (business, building sciences, life science or equivalent).
  • 6 + years’ experience in a Project Controls role
  • 2 + years’ experience working in a Construction environment
  • Advanced Excel user
  • AACE or Project Management experience (beneficial)
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
