Senior Production Planner - Contract - Ireland

Ireland is a hive of activity for the Life Sciences Sector at present with global players setting up new / expanding existing manufacturing facilities all over the Country. An exciting immediate opportunity has arisen to work via Quanta on the client’s side for a global Pharmaceutical organisation on one of their existing manufacturing facilities in County Dublin. 

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Production Planner, ideally with 5+ years GMP experience, to immediately join this Pharmaceutical company for an initial 3 months. You will play a key role in this OSD facility with the main responsibility to manage the Production Planning Process to ensure that budget, service and cost goals are met.

Day to day duties will include (not limited):

• Assess capacity & supply risks and constraints for escalation to the relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
• Ensure alignment between internal and external manufacturing stakeholders to develop production plans.
• Understands customer needs and translates these into the Production Plan in the most efficient manner.
• Complete analysis of the Long Term Demand providing management with different scenarios and actively seek creative supply solutions to optimize the plan.

The ideal candidate will be available for an immediate start and have 5 + years experience as a Production Planner / similar function within a GMP Pharmaceutical setting.
