Senior QHSE Engineer – Contract – Rotterdam

Are you a Senior QHSE Engineer looking for your next contract? We have the position for you! Working on a contractual basis in Rotterdam, this is your opportunity to work alongside a world leader in dredging, offshore energy solutions and environmental works.

Senior QHSE Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Advise the workforce regarding QHSE matters and organise and give trainings, inductions, and toolbox meetings.
  • Execute audits and inspections to ensure the effectiveness of QHSE programs.
  • Give recommendations for improvement and reassure follow-up of their implementation.
  • Complete internal risk assessment and help to implement the measures.
  • Support, maintain and improve our QHSE system.
  • Escalate and communicate important QHSE issues and improvement initiatives to the QHSE department.
  • Assist in the review and follow up on investigation of incidents by gathering relevant documentation
About you:
  • 5 + years’ experience as QHSE Engineer
  • 5 + years’ experience and knowledge of maintaining an Operation Management system
  • Fluent in English
  • Familiarity with HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA (Lean Six Sigma) and other risk assessment techniques
