SPMT Operator – Contract – Belfast

Our Global Heavy Lift clients are always looking to add to their ever-growing teams in the European market. With this in mind, we are interested in speaking to anyone who has experience operating SMPTs and has the right to work in the UK.

This is a blade maintenance campaign for wind turbines located in the Irish Sea.

SPMT Operator Responsibilities:
  • Operate:
    •  KAMAG K24 5L, spacer beam 35m and 2x KAMAG K24 5L
  • Assemble and disassemble KAMAG K24 + spacer beam
  • Assist during lifting operations
  • Deliver turbine blades to shipping device and de-stack with crawler cranes.
About you:
  • D card or passport
  • Driving license
  • Basic safety certificate (VCA or equivalent)
  • Proof of medical examination (fit-to-work)
  • GWO Manual Handling
  • GWO Working at Heights
  • GWO Fire Awareness
  • GWO First Aid
  • Technical & Operation Safety
  • SPMT operator certificate
