Supervisor (Steel Structure & Ducting) - Energy from Waste - London

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSE requirements, and that work is carried out in accordance with the RAMS
  • Responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel
  • Implements standardised methods in order to identify complex problems
  • Ensures works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time and budget requirements
  • Co-operates with erection contractors and exchanges experience with colleagues responsible for products and other project teams and specialist departments
  • Progresses change requests (technical, time and costs), prepares and follows-up deviations and claims
  • Builds plans and implements of the installation testing procedures
  • Chases and ensures closing of the contractor’s punch items

Requirements:
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Experienced in similar roles as supervisor in construction of large industrial plant
  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), valid Safety Contractors Certificate or equivalent
