Sustainability SME – Pharmaceuticals – Contract (Part Time) – Remote (Shanghai)

Are you looking for the opportunity to work with a global biopharmaceutical company? This is your chance! Our client develops and delivers life changing medicines to millions of people globally and as part of their growth, they are looking for a Sustainability SME to help support operations at their Shanghai based facility. This is a part time (circa 40 hours per month) remote working contract.

As the Sustainability SME, you must be a native speaker of Mandarin (or highly proficient) as well as English.

Sustainability SME Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinate between internal stakeholders and external parties to provide a single point of contact for sustainability considerations, ensuring sustainability targets and requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
  • Ensure the project team has made all relevant sustainability specifications available to the Design Contractor.
  • Review contractor response to the project technical Requirements to ensure company requirements are correctly included.
  • Attend project meetings on an as required basis.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing project specific Sustainability Delivery Plan (SDP)
  • Provide guidance on Sustainability processes and governance to Project Team and Work Package Owner teams
  • Cover all aspects of sustainability (environmental protection) work scope
About You:
  • Previous experience working with energy modelling
  • Commercial working background, or life sciences.
  • Experience holding a similar position
