Technical Writer

Technical Writer - 6-months Contract - Denmark

Our client that specialises in producing and developing training products for the health care sector are currently seeking the expertise of a Technical Writer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining all content (writing the English master text) and transforming complex technical processes into understandable user-focused content. You will also develop a content strategy - plan, create and measure content to allow the same source content to be used across different forms of media and more than one time, and to achieve predefined business and marketing goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop and maintain English written content, ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk mitigation demands.
• Develop all content into single-source production.
• Managing the translation process from start to finish.
• Being part of driving the strategy for User Information to ensure we meet user needs. 

Desirable Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication/writing or similar.
• 5 + year experience in a technical communications role, preferably related to working with physical products. Experience with medical devices is a bonus.
• High level thinker, experienced with large content handling and standardisation of content.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. 
• Well experienced with single management systems (Adobe FrameMaker or similar) and expert in Creative Cloud applications.
• Familiar with terminologies such as XML, DITA structure, single source of truth (SSOT)
