Warehouse Operator – Contract – Toulouse – Life Sciences

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join their capital project in the South of France. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a Warehouse Operator to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe.


Responsibilities
  • Replace the Warehouse & Material Flow Manager for certain tasks if necessary.
  • Carry out all tasks in compliance with safety and quality rules, following company policies, procedures and training.
  • Use of warehouse handling equipment to receive, control, label, store, repackage if necessary, make raw materials, consumables and reagents available for the Production, Quality Control and Process Development departments.
  • Receive the goods at the GMP warehouse reception area, following the list of controls in place and immediately reporting any anomaly to superiors.
  • Label the packages and pallets received following the instructions in place.
  • Storage of materials and consumables in specialised shelving and storage locations, following the HSE and quality rules in force
  • Weigh materials for production needs following dressing procedures in place, safety instructions and instructions for use and cleaning of associated equipment.
  • Following the management rules in place, order and control the stock of raw materials and consumables for the Production team and laboratories
  • Participate in EHS/QA visits in the warehouse

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bac Pro in logistics or significant experience in the field
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Attention to detail, particularly regarding documentation
  • CACES 3/5 forklift driver license
  • Experience driving forklifts
  • ADR training would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
