Windows Administrator - Contract - Valencia

New contract opportunity for a Windows Administrator to work fully remotely with an international non-profit organisation that has it;s main office in Valencia, Spain. You'll join a multinational technical team supporting not only the Windows environment of the main client, but also one of it's primary customers. This is a remote role requiring someone from the UK or Europe (time zone).

As a member of the Windows team you will:

• Troubleshoot complex problems; familiarity with ITIL best practices; engage in incident and problem management; including engagement in governance processes as needed e.g. CAB (Change Advisory Board) participation. 
• Have full engagement in the maintenance lifecycle of applicable equipment/processes in the respective domain/area.
• Monitor and escalate as needed for any anomalies of the system in their respective domain.
• Provide project support as a technical member.
• Take ownership of Disaster Recovery procedures including documentation, coordination with other teams, development of procedures; Ownership of activation procedures in an actual event.
• Collaborate with other teams as needed.

You will have:

• Three or more years of proven working experience in Windows administration and operations and Windows patch management, vulnerability and remediation
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Windows servers
• VMware, vCentre, SRM and vSphere replication experience
• Knowledge of cloud computing technology (Azure).
• Knowledge in scripts, automation, and Windows Task Scheduler
