A lot of companies will tell you about their Visions & Values, their mantra or their mission statement. But this can all too often be a throwaway line that looks good on a letter head or written on the wall but is forgotten about when it comes to the day-to-day running of the company.
This is far from the case at Quanta. We live our Visions & Values every day – by uniting people with life-changing industries. Our 5 core values run through everything we do, and make life at Quanta different from the norm:
We enjoy what we do:
Steve Jobs once said, “the only way to do great work is to love what you do”. We follow this school of thought every day and have taken steps to make sure everyone at Quanta enjoys their work. Our teams have a genuine passion for their industries, whether it be life sciences, renewable energy or ICT. This means they love keeping up to date with the latest industry news and trends and pride themselves on being subject-matter experts. We believe a genuine interest in your field makes you a better employee and gives you a much higher level of job satisfaction!
We also know that a good work-life balance is essential to enjoying your work. That’s why not only do we make sure we finish early on Fridays and give you plenty of chances to earn extra holiday, but we’re also always putting on fun events for everyone to enjoy. From lunches and dinners with your team to full weekends away and charity events, we make sure that you enjoy what you do in and outside of work.

There are plenty of recruitment companies out there. But part of #WhyWeLoveQuanta is that, internally and externally, we are different and proud of it. Our previously mentioned passion for recruitment means we take an unrivalled pride in what we do. This means we put your needs first – whether it’s in finding you the right job or the right hire – and our team enjoy building a strong and sustainable relationship with whoever they’re working with.
We value communication:
Whether it’s internally or externally, we believe communication is key. Often a criticism levelled at recruiters from outside sources is poor, or a lack of, communication. We look to turn this on its head with both inbound and outbound communication. We listen to the requirements of jobseekers and companies, seeking first to understand their needs before adding our own opinions. Then we make sure that the communication doesn’t fall off at our end, ensuring we stay in contact with both sides throughout the entire process.
Internally, too, we make sure that we’re always talking to each other. Everyone has weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews, to make sure we’re performing the best that we can. We finish the week together talking about what went well, what we can improve and what the coming week has to offer. We don’t stop communicating with each other, which means we’re constantly improving.
Investment in OUR future:
While we are constantly improving through our communication, this is furthered by how much we invest in our people. From day 1, fully customised inductions mean you’re brought up to speed on how we do things here, so you can jump right in to learning the ropes as seamlessly as possible. The development doesn’t stop there – our two external trainers are in the office at least once a week and are around to help with any personalised or group training needs that you may have. We run training on anything from specific upskilling for your role, to time-management and communication, and even extra-curricular language tuition. This is all in the interest in investing in our future. The more opportunities we give our employees to improve, the more successful Quanta will become as a team!
Of all our values, this is the one which runs throughout the business the most, day in and day out. The One Team ethos is something that every single person at Quanta works by. We know we’re better as a team and when one of us succeeds, we all do.
