Electrical Project Manager - Galway

Our client are industry-leading builders and contractors with comprehensive expertise across all sectors, including Data Centres and Pharma/Life Sciences. Traditionally they have been a specialist in civil infrastructure, but they are now expanding their M&E offering.  They are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to assist in the Life Sciences industry.


Key responsibilities
  • Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP Services project delivery cycle from Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing & Commissioning
  • Co-ordinate design team information & details in time for project delivery activities
  • Ensure implementation of the MEP deliverables on the project
  • Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of safety
  • Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved quality plan
  • Monitor programmes & review installation progress of MEP services
  • Work collaboratively with the design team, MEP subcontractors and the wider project team

Specific Requirements
  • Relevant Third level qualification in Building Services M&E or Mechanical Engineering trade
  • 7 years’ experience in building services co-ordination
  • Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project experience in Med-tech, Pharma, Industrial, Datacentre
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
