Engineering CAPEX Controller - Senior - Brussels, Belgium - 12-Month Contract

Responsibilities: 
  • Play as the primary Engineering CAPEX Controller in the development of CapEx budget & pivotal role in managing capital spend/expenditures for RBM’s industrial engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with RBM ‘s project teams to comprehend project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Blend engineering knowledge with financial acumen to create accurate budgets, forecast project expenses, and ensure optimal execution within allocated financial frameworks.
  • Responsible for the monthly accounting in SAP to ensure WBS level forecasting accuracy as well leveraging SAP historical data to benchmark budgets.
  • Construct forecasting models (GR/IR/PT) to anticipate project expenses and maintain budgetary compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive business and financial analysis to contribute to the strategic decision-making process.
  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of accurate and timely reporting and forecasting updates for the various projects.

Requirements: 
  • 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Engineering Project Controls, in the construction, industrial engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and Belgian or other international GAAP.
  • Very good understanding of construction or civil engineering processes associated to greenfield developments.
  • Experience in budgeting with different cost estimating standards, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Working experience with SAP MM, FI/CO, PS with the ability to extract, interpret, and utilise relevant data from SAP orders.
  • Advanced office computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
