Global Process Owner – Transportation - Antwerp - 12-Months

Responsibilities: 

  • Process improvement: Identifying risks, inefficiencies and bottlenecks in workflows and implementing solutions and mitigations to improve efficiency in alignment with business
  • Project support: Being involved in projects in the activity area, provide process expertise support
  • Document management: Collect and analyse all existing transportation and logistics process documentation and come-up, configure and structure a document management system as standard solution
  • Workflow Analysis: Analysing, mapping and documenting processes. Identify areas for enhancement, optimisation and automation
  • Technology support: Support digitisation initiatives with process design and development
  • SME: Act as a Subject Matter Expert, provide best practices and innovative solutions in software and operative solutions
  • Bring alignment with key stakeholders in BU’s on the process landscape
  • Compliance: ensuring that all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Responsible at global level for all aspects of the end-to-end process and design of best-in-class, efficient and effective end-to-end processes

Requirements: 
  • Master degree (economics, sciences, …) or equivalent by experience
  • Substantial professional experience in logistic and transportations (>10 years) Knowledge of logistics and transportation procurement is a nice to have
  • Experience working for a large, diverse multinational company is preferred
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of business process needs/mapping/documentation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process design, optimisation, efficiency programs and project management
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • Sound IT knowledge and affinity. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Open, collaborative mindset
