Infrastructure consultant (junior)

In this role you will join a global IT Service Provider working from modern offices in Valencia, Spain and you will use your knowledge of Java, Middleware & Integration, Authentication & Access Administration to support an end customer’s infrastructure.

You will:

• Get involved on daily and project activities, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Run the IBM-ISAM distributed infrastructure (federation Advanced Auth, Azure AD)
• Filenet/CPD/J2EE
• Administer Websphere application servers and a bespoke J2EE e-Banking application called CPD.
• Assist the unit team members to carry out on-going activities and projects
• Prepare documentation where needed
• Possibly provide ‘stand-by / on call’ services 

You’ll have:

• A solid background in administration of Java application servers preferably WebSphere
• Knowledge of Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), OAuth, Open ID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, etc.
• Solid background in J2EE administration and Java development
• English language skills (knowledge of French, Spanish, Italian is a bonus)

Preferred additional skills include:

• Access management systems (IBM ISAM, Oracle Webgate, Siteminder, etc.)
• Identity federation and advanced access concepts (Push Notification Login, TOTP/HOTP, Token Binding, U2F, etc)
• Java development / middleware systems / containerization on docker

This is an initial 3 month contract with long term potential (+2 years). It’s an English-speaking role and will start in December 2019 following an initial skype video interview. Please be aware that the chosen candidate will be required to travel for induction and training to the end customers premises located in Manilla, Philippines for a period between 1 to 3 months.
