Maintenance Supervisor - Pharmaceuticals - Missouri - 12-Month Contract 

This is your opportunity to join an industry leading team as they continue to innovate new solutions to support the growth of their client and as they expand their operation into the US market.

Experienced in providing technical engineering services to state of the art GMP manufacturing facilities, our client is looking to develop a new team as they expand their services to support a well-known and globally recognized brand.


Responsibilities
  • Effective communication with site personnel with respect to the planning and implementation of maintenance activities.
  • Maintain and trouble shoot plant and equipment.
  • Review, develop and implement PPM and CBM activities and technologies.
  • Liaise directly with the Production, Process and Manufacturing Team Leaders to agree schedules and priority of works.
  • Attend daily Kaizen meetings, provide proactive comment.
  • Oversee maintenance resources, 3rd parties, including spares requests, and engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to maintenance planning, strategies, and continuous improvement.
  • Shutdown planning.
  • Implementation of Lean techniques in the running / coordination of maintenance activities and/or projects.
  • Responsible for meeting predefined KPI targets with respect to maintenance downtime, maintenance performance and overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Actively assist in the management and development of people in maintenance team to achieve a high-performance output.
  • Defining and implementing skills matrix
  • Ensure site documentation is accurate, timely and relevant.
  • Provide a helpful and professional service at all times.
  • Drive and support OEE requirements, and other support systems and tools.

Requirements
  • 7-10 years + experience performing maintenance on process equipment, preferably in a cGMP process or manufacturing environment Food & Bev, Pharma type, though related fields will be acceptable.
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
