QA Engineer / QA Specialist - Pharma - Seattle, USA - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global biotechnology organization, is recruiting for a QA Engineer / QA Specialist to join their capital project in Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a QA Engineer / QA Specialist to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe. As the QA Engineer / QA Specialist you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately 14,900m2.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for quality oversight, participation and guidance for the review and approval of design changes.
  • Partner with cross functional teams in the evaluation of supplier requests for device and combination products e.g. design changes, supplier quality governance and quality agreements.
  • Responsible for documenting supplier quality agreements and periodic review of supplier quality requirements.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Tech Ops, Complaints, Quality Systems (CQSC), Supplier Quality Management, Operations.
  • Minimum of a B.Sc. or B. Eng. degree in biomedical / mechanical engineering, Quality Assurance or other related subject.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Quality with biotechnology, pharmaceutical or combination products in a regulated environment.
