Data Centre Construction Senior Planner - Germany - 14 Month Contract

What will you be doing?
  • Provide planning execution services to projects teams, bid and proposals functions
  • Translate contractual requirements and project execution strategies into a workable project plan in both bid and execution phases
  • Coordinate project time and schedule related matters with other functions, commercial (cost) and finance as well as clients, partners and subcontractors
  • Provide critical path, schedule and progress analysis
  • Be part of continuous improvement of project controls procedures, processes and tools.
  • Manage a small planning team and be able to educate and train in general planning and scheduling principles, also outside of the planning function if required.
  • Set up and maintain auditable trails planning and scheduling deliverables
  • Facilitate and provide schedule risk analysis
 
What do you need to bring?
  • Excellent engineering & construction knowledge in terms of architectural construction detail and the installation and commissioning sequences of M&E services
  • Experience of being involved in the planning & proposals process within the Engineering and/or Construction industry.
  • Proven understanding and application of planning & rescheduling techniques
  • Proven understanding and application of the full project cycle
  • Proven understanding of M&E infrastructure.
  • Ability to react quickly to project pace and change, be able to make valid assumptions, challenge design, be able to work alone from information and have confidence and the ability to back up the programmes.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver programming and planning in accordance with the guidelines set down by the Society of Construction Law, Delay and Disruption Protocol.
