Senior Process Specialist Responsibilities:
- Ensure that engineering and design is successfully delivered with the required governance for the management of process safety hazards and associated deliverables
- Provide advice and guidance to projects and assets on the appropriate risk mitigation measures required for operational and integrity-related Process Safety issues.
- Support the Barrier Management program in the development Barrier Management system (Framework, performance standards and supporting processes)
- Provide guidance in compliance with requirements including standards and legislation related to PSM
- Support and drive studies for hazard identification, consequence evaluation, safety assessments, risk assessments, risk mitigation and ALARP evaluation
About you:
- Minimum 5 years experience as process safety / technical safety in oil and gas facilities, chemical process facilities or electrolyser facilities.
- University graduate in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Fire, Safety, Electrical, Process Eng., Physics or Mathematics).
- Knowledge of effects modelling and Quantitative Risk Assessment,
- Able to facilitate process safety engineering workshops. These may include HAZID, HAZOP, Bowties, ALARP, SIMOPs, and facility layout and siting. Knowledge of LOPA and SIL classification.
- Experience in developing and/ or maintaining performance standards.
- Experience in developing and maintaining Major Accident Hazard Strategies require
- Knowledge of international standards and guidelines, including both design and operations.
- Experience with project process safety management
