Application Packager

Long term contract opportunity for an Application Packager (Unified Endpoints) to join an international IT organisation, working fully remotely in Europe with an initial 6 month contract and multiple renewals. This is an English-speaking opportunity and the client will run a single stage Teams interview in December for onboarding in January 2024.

As Application Packager you will:

• Provide ongoing support for packaged applications and communicate with customers as well as third-party vendors.
• Create and validate windows installer MSI, MST and App-V packages
• Develop, test, and implement software packages and updates compatibility.
• APPV5, MSIX, APPX, MSI build, test, and deploy.
• SCCM and end user self-service portal administration.
• Application Packaging, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MEMCM), PowerShell, Application Compatibility, Active Directory Management.
• Maintain software documentation and ensure version control
• Provide support and in-depth troubleshooting of any issues related to packaging and deployments.

You will have:

• Windows Installer MSI packaging experience and App-V sequencing
• SCCM/MEMCM application deployments End user 3rd line support experience
• SCCM/MEMCM Device driver packages creation experience
• Proven experience as a Packaging and Integration Engineer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of MEMCM and Intune
• 5 years of experience in management of Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager (SCCM/MEMCM) infrastructure, and at least 3 years on MCM Current Branch Experience with Desktop migration from Windows 10, Windows 11
• Experience managing GPOs in desktop environments
• Experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, KMS, PKI, SQL • Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022
• Experience in large-scale and complex environments, particularly global implementations
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
