Contract Administrator – Data Centres – Permanent – Benin, West Africa

Our client, an international construction consultancy, require the help of a Contract Administrator. With more than 40 years of construction and engineering industry experience, and expertise of working with government departments and supply chains at a global level, this is an incredibly exciting client and project to be a part of.

This is a permanent role based in Benin, West Africa.

Contract Administrator Responsibilities:

Ensure that the works are progressing in accordance with the contract programme and therefore that the completion date is achieved by the parties.
Report to the employer on progress of works.
Manage the commissioning of works.
Supervise works and inspect works.
Providing instructions to the contractor.
Managing defects.
Determining applications for an extension of time.
Manage adjustments to the contract price.
Keep records of site visits, correspondence etc.

About you:

Formal engineering, claims or contract education.
Experience within a Claims Management role on behalf of the construction company.
FIDIC contract experience (preferred).
Construction experience from power, commercial or any critical projects.
