Electrical Engineer - Cardiff - 9-Month Contract 

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of an Electrical Engineer. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.  


Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and review project specifications, schematic drawings, design documents, submittals, and commissioning scripts.
  • Perform engineering analyses for loads, lighting levels, and short-circuit currents, including photometric, coordination, and arc flash mitigation studies.
  • Conduct distribution analysis focusing on voltage drop and underground duct bank heat effects.
  • Attend design meetings and ensure engineering standards and specifications are met in construction.
  • Review and provide feedback on project plans and participate in gating approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams for optimised and streamlined product delivery.
  • Attend on-site job walks and meetings for hands-on project engagement.
  • Assist Site Operations in troubleshooting and tuning existing systems.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by management.

Requirements: 
  • Electrical engineering experience
